National Tap Dance Day - Colorado Tap Dance Connection 2026

Celebrate the art of tap dance! Come early and tappers ages 12 and up can take tap classes and join a tap jam. Afterward, enjoy a curated selection of short, family-friendly tap dance films from around the world alongside performances by local dance companies. Come tap with us!

4-5pm: Beginner Tap w/ Michelle Bernier, Justin Boccitto, and Kaitlyn McMorran OR Intermediate Tap w/ Dani Champagne, Emily Jones, and Jenna Roe
5-6pm Open Level Tap Jam (all are welcome)
6:30-8pm: Tap Dance Short Films (curated by Sans Souci Festival) and Live Performances including work from Common Sound, Rocky Mountain Rhythm, Essential Dance, and more

Registration: Colorado Tap Connection’s National Tap Dance is completely FREE of charge. We ask that you register below for all of the events you plan to attend and also select how many attendees for each at checkout. If you plan to stay for the entire event we encourage you to bring your own meal. Beverages and desserts will be provided. All ages are welcome to any and all of the scheduled events.
